The Domestic Ministry of Autumn Hope is twofold:
1. There is a great misunderstanding in the church today regarding missionaries. It seems that most Christians believe that missionaries are those who have received a call form God to give up all the comforts of America and move to a foreign location. While this does happen, the scripture is clear that all of us are to be missionaries. Whether at home or on volunteer mission opportunities around the world we are all subject to Matthew 28:19-20. My desire is to encourage everyone to be obedient by showing how each of us can get involved.
2. Autumn Hope was built on the idea that we are to “make disciples of all nations”. The message for today’s church is that we have failed in this attempt. The American Dream has distracted us, and in many cases the church looks little different than the world around it. The message of radical discipleship is needed. This message coupled with an clear understanding of the Kingdom of God is life changing.
