Autumn Hope has been working in Kenya for nearly 20 years. Focusing on the Western area of the country on the slopes of beautiful Mount Elgon, we have planted more than 400 churches and trained thousands of pastors.
We work with two major groups in Kenya, each of which is highlighted below.
Greenwood Community Church
While this is a single church it is also the umbrella that covers multiple other pastors and churches. Pastor Richard Wafula heads this group and has been with us since 2003. Under his leadership thousands have been saved through personal and group evangelism.
In 2018 his mud church of 20 years collapsed and we were able with the help of people like you to rebuild a new stone church. This church stands out in this area and many have come to Christ because of it.
Christ Favor International
In 2008 we started working with Christ Favor in several ways. We have held major conferences hosting 500 plus pastors for training and encouragement. We have planted 3 other churches that are currently going strong in surrounding villages.
Bishop Phillip Lusweti is head of this organization and is a dynamic preacher and musician. His wife Grace is also a pastor and pastors one of the church plants nearby.
